Personality:
Philip has a tendency to look people over during their first meeting. This is evident through some of the clients' introduction within the episode where he asks them question and oftentimes runs a search on them while Shoutaro works on the case, most of the time this is to gain information about their background which might lead to more keywords necessary for them to solve the current case regarding the clients. This, in addition to Philip's constant curiosity regarding just about everything he's never heard ever might lead to a strange impression of him as he's just devoted to researching things.

Having had a strange childhood, it’s normal for Philip to have certain points fly over his head as he has some comprehension problems regarding new things, whether it's the context or just the meaning of the word, such as when he took the phrase 'idiots couldn't get colds at all' and ran a complete search on it as well as creating a logical conclusion on how this sentence is true. Not surprising, considering his immense curiosity on just about everything in this Earth; he finds joy in knowing new things, even if it's something really mundane or strange; there's always adventure to be found within the act of researching.

Friends are always something that fascinated him, and continues to be even now as his continued interaction with them helped him in finding out even more new things, as well as being a source of support when he needed it, therefore he always feels the need to protect them when a problem rears its head, while he used to be fine with sacrificing himself in order to protect them, nowadays he knew that if he recklessly charged like that, it'd end up with his death, and with the burden placed on him, he knew that it'd be better for his friends to not be harmed at all.

Shoutaro was, is and will always be his one and only partner, it's no wonder that Double is often called the two-in-one Rider due to how they synchronise so well with each other. There's also the fact that they complement each other so well in the first place, with Philip being the level-headed anchor for Shoutaro's more impulsive behavior. This relationship had been sparked from the moment he was thrust into Shoutaro's care by Soukichi during the night they first met no thanks to his untimely death. Ever since then, Shoutaro had been with him through thick and thin, supporting each other as they went through the ups and downs of their life. At this point, Philip wouldn't abandon his partner, just as how Shoutaro wouldn't let Philip go again due to the bonds they have cultivated over all those years.

This selflessness arose from the fact that he's never really sure on who himself is, Raito Sonozaki, the son of the man who caused this string of events to happen, or Philip, the boy who lived in a detective Agency as well as Shoutaro Hidari's partner. In the end, when given the choice, he decided to sacrifice himself to save others, as even if he doesn't know who he really is, his friend does, and he trusts in them to keep the city safe even without his presence. Of course, when he found out that Wakana had sacrificed herself to revive his body as well as the reason of how he was chosen as the successor of the Sonozaki's family, it was then he knew what exactly to do, and therefore, leading to the erasure of his doubts over his true identity.

Currently, Philip is more confident in doing things on his own at the time, though not as reckless to the point of sacrificing himself. And while he's still curious, it can be known that he's more mature than before thanks to what he went through across the canon, as well as the fact that he'll continue to be Shoutaro's partner no matter what comes at them.

Canon Powers:
As the right half of Kamen Rider Double, Philip generally doesn’t fight as Shoutaro is the one mostly in control even while they’re synced considering Philip’s mind is the one that combined during the transformations, except in the case of Fang and Xtreme, which would be described below. The right half generally grants Kamen Rider Double an elemental power related to the Memory Philip is currently using.

Philip transforms using the Double Driver that materializes when Shoutaro wears his, and during the transformation, Philip’s body would be unconscious due to the absence of his mind.

Cyclone Memory (Wind): The default Memory Philip tends to use to transform into Double; Grants Double the ability to harness the wind, as well as enabling them to move quicker. Forms using this memory has a scarf hanging around their neck, which functions as a stabilizer.

Heat Memory (Fire): Grants Double the ability to harness fire, giving them even more power to defeat their foes, most of the times this is shown by Double’s punches / staff swings to get fire effects as they connect, or changing Trigger’s projectiles into fire-based ones.

Luna Memory (Light): Enables Double to perform Illusions such as extending his limbs, or even bending projectile; causing it to lock on to the enemies.

Fang Memory (Phys): A special memory that's somehow sentient and appears whenever Philip is in trouble. Unlike other memories, the Fang memory grants Philip the ability to transform into a special form of Double's instead of Shoutaro. This transformation used Philip's body instead of Shoutaro's, granting Double access to FangJoker, a form that's specialized in savage melee attacks using the claws that could appear by pressing the Fang Memory once, twice or thrice.

Xtreme Memory (Light): Like the Fang Memory, this Memory is somewhat sentient, only appearing when Philip's life is in danger. Using this Memory enables both Philip and Shoutaro to truly fuse in body and mind, granting them access to Double's strongest form, Cyclone Joker Xtreme, wielding the ultimate sword and shield, as well as having power incomparable to others.

Gaia Memory (Mind): Being crammed with the knowledge of his own world due to the experiments performed on him while he was but a child, Philip is able to look inside his mind to search for information, of course, seeing as Demons are not present in his world, he couldn't run a search on them.

The sound of someone writing on a whiteboard could be heard as Philip continued absentmindedly scribbling all the descriptions that he could find of the word: "Brainfreeze." He had heard someone complaining about that ever since that new drink started being served in the Cafés around; slushy, wasn't it?

Well, in any case, the thought of the word occupied his head as he continue sorting through books within his mental library.

"Fascinating, who knew that something being too cold could provoke such a response in our brain..."

He said to himself as he looked over the board, now full of scribblings in all directions, not in order at all as he finally noticed someone standing behind him; perhaps they're the client for the day? Well, the only way to know how is to greet him or her, isn't it?

"Welcome to the Narumi Detective Agency, can I help you?"

It's a shame that Akiko's not here to welcome them, as he would rather do more research on this subject than working the front desk of the establishment.
